Deals.com is a community based deals and coupons site. The site features an interactive submission process for registered members of the community. Members can earn badges for submitting new deals and coupons and boast about it to everyone they know. Deals.com checks everything submitted to make sure that all information posted on the site are valid and authentic.

The site’s interface is very easy for anyone to use and navigate. A majority of the site is dedicated to a section for popular deals. The right sidebar is also dedicated for highlighted deals, popular store, and a deal sharing submission form which both members and non-members can be able to use when submitting new deals.

The secondary header features tabs for categories, stores, blog, and dealerboard. The latter features top dealers on the community. The blog entitled, "Carpe Dealem" is not blogging about the deals featured in the site. The blog topics are generally about saving money on shopping. The stores page lists all stores from A to Z. The number of deals listed for each store is also included. The top stores in Deals.com include Electronics Expo, Buy.com, Massey Outfit, Viator, PC Connection Express, Sephora, Dell, Horizon Fitness, Travelocity, B&H, Overstock, and Rock.com.

As for the categories, these are listed at the footer of the site. The categories include auctions, the automotive industry, books and news, cameras and video recorders, clothing, shoes, and jewelry, computers, electronics, finance, fitness, food and entertainment, gifts, health, hobbies and collectibles, home and garden, jewelry and watches, kids, miscellaneous (for all things not categorized), office supplies, personal finance, other personal services, telecommunication, tools, travel, VOIP phone services, and web hosting.

The site’s search engine effectively locates specific information users need to know. It is located on the right side of the secondary header. The upper header links the RSS feeds option for everyone who would like to subscribe to email updates. Deals.com is also found on social network sites like Facebook and Twitter. The Facebook page info mentions that the Deals.com site is still on Beta testing mode, although navigating the actual site lets you see that everything you need to see are already updated. In fact, Deals.com is the only deals site with a detailed "About Us" (called Company Information actually, found on the footer) section. The page does not only talk about the usual company information. It also contains the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of the site with relevant information on cookies, user security (what happens to information submitted on the site), third party links and content, and user responsibilities as well as discretion upon use of the site.
